Try posting on the BeBox Zone forums.
Memory is the first posibility. Secondly, is the big card with all the
audio and geek port etc seated correctly? Thirdly, the battery for the
cmos might be running low. Try swapping out PCI cards too. Video card
might me the culprit.
My BeBox is sitting in storage. It's a 66MHz model, and it is quite
painful to use under R5 or later these days.
You could always buy a Mac. A 7300 or 8500/9500/8600/9600 would set you
back pocket change these days, but will run rings around the BeBox. A dual
proc 9500 or 9600 would be less than US$50, but something like a 7300
would be $5 or $10 at most. I bought a beige G3 and over £1000 worth of
hardware (laserprinter, monitor, 2 other 68000 macs, modems, scanners etc)
for UK£15 from eBay a while ago. That's probably about $30..
