Do you have an extra drive or some space you can use? Try a new install and 
see if it reoccurs. If that doesn't do it, I'd say power supply.

If you decide to get rid of any of your Amiga hardware, let me know. 
Depending on where you're located (I'm in the US), we might be able to work 
something out. I have several PowerMacs that are Be-capable if not already 
running it, some with G3 upgrades.
