[bedevtalk] Optical mouse is jerky in BeOS

I've seen a mis-behaving driver that sometimes will tie up CPU time and causing a lag servicing the mouse interrupts .  You might check to see if there is some other driver causing a conflict.   You might even take a look and see if there is some other process going on.
