After quick overlook, I'll bet that only minor changes are needed to make it
work under BeOS. getpwuid(), TTY/termios stuffs and maybe some signal handling
for example may require some changes to compile and run as expected.
For better OS integration, several functions could be rewritten to use for
example find_directory(), be_clipboard, Storage Kit.
