I am still subscribed, but unfortunately don't have good ideas with regard
to your problem. The networking itself doesn't seem to be the trouble.
Either it's some kind of resource problem, or a crucial service has died.
Have you tried enabling the syslog? What else have you tried to get an
overview of the available/used resources?
If nothing else, you can join Haiku development in the meantime! :-) There
is hope.
