that's true-perhaps one could remove the clock if they want. But if
everything is too minimal and componentized, we'll run into some of the same
problems with skins.  There will be conflicts, both visual and
technical/support. People will wonder: where is everything??? and might not
give us a second look.

For example, compare the integration of some of Flock's features with
Firefox trying to do the same using various extensions. Flock is much easier
because they look at the whole picture and try to solve the problems in the
simplest way.
