[ge-talk] UI ideas + maximised windows

Mm. I agree to an extent (I always use Live fullscreen on my iBook, and
I like the self-contained groovebox feel it gives you), but I think
it's got a lot to do with how sequencers are constructed... Once I get
my programming chops in order (any day now..!), I'll begin work on a
modular sequencer module for Haiku. A clock/transport module, a MIDI
editor module, an audio recording/editing module, a sequencing module,
maybe as stand-alone apps, maybe using replicants... but just all
interchangable components with a common message passing structure
sync'd to one clock, so if you don't like the MIDI editor (I like MIDI
list views, most people don't), you just use another one. You could use
a standard desk-style mixer or something more out there like Cortex
(draw lines between blocks), anything you want. That's what I'd like,
at least.
