If you need a tool tip on each and every button in each and every 
dialogue, there's a problem. I deeply disagree with the sentiment that 
all usability issues are the fault of software developers (although 
this is quite often the case). Have a ? icon on a Save panel is taking 
the forking piss. There should be well-written documentation for new 
users and experts a like, yeah, an introduction to the system which 
complete muppets can read, but there has to be a limit - and both 
developers and users should know accept that any tool takes some time 
to learn. I don't think it's snobbish or elitist to demand that users 
do some reading, especially on complex subjects... but then I find 
OpenBSD user-friendly, maybe that voids my opinions in some people's 
eyes.
