Well, yeah dragging ? on Open is silly. You get "open specified file".
But when you drag the ? to the space where you type the file name, you
get a lot of useful information about * and what is acceptable for a
name. But who would think of dragging a ? to an empty field?
When I said help button on dialog, I meant like the one in firefox
such as the options dialog.
It brings up help for the whole dialog or the tab you are in.
Then I decided to check IE7 options. There's that ? but it doesn't
work the same way as the draggable icon in the file dialog. It's now
like the firefox help button.
Documentation is hard to deal with. I love the BeOS Bible but I could
never deal with it if it was online. It's also for people who are
already sold on Haiku. Or applying for 'certification'
Also, even if Haiku is simple, we can't expect the same for a CAD
program or sequencer. But they need to be consistent so they don't go
around putting ? icons on their own when that's not the way it's
"done"
